SASSA Will Take Solutions to Fernie Neighborhood

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies for the community.

SASSA will likely be rendering services including new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer care enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency stated it can be alarmed with regards to the higher amount of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The goal of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a superior quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is a here result of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no fully functional office focused on service the area daily. The company place established for intervention ordeals a superior inflow of possible beneficiaries, which makes it tricky with the Workplace to attend to all people who check out a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more resources to help the servicing of all buyers and improve usage of Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
